“You Really Do Make a Difference”!

One of my current 1-1 clients asked me the other day during a Q&A inside one of my private groups…

“Did you ever realise that you would become a life coach?”

And I have to be honest, he already knew what my reaction was going to be to this.

Because one thing that I do NOT class myself as is a “life coach”

I mean, I am far too young to be one of those, right? 😬

LEAVE IT! 🤪

It was, however, very flattering that this client did say this.

I think that he has seen over the years the work that I have put into my client’s all-around wellbeing.

And how much that I focus on their mindset too.

It is not something that I ever “tried” to do when I began coaching.

I think it is just the type of person that I am.

I think that I get that from my parents.

I just want people to win in life.

And I truly want to help.

And if that means lending an ear to a client who is struggling outside of the realm of weight loss.

Then so be it.

You very often find that the two are very much connected in my line of work anyway.

So it did make me smile when I received this weekly check-in feedback from an online weight loss client over the weekend after the original comment from my 1-1 client.

Just saying how much of a difference that I make outside of their nutrition too.

That really did mean a lot.

Because it is not something that I consciously try to do.

But something that I am happy for them to feel they get.

So as for being a “life coach”?

Absolutely not.

I hold zero qualifications in this area.

And I do not claim to be anything of the kind.

But as for being a coach who wants my clients to win and thrive in every walk of their life?

Absolutely 🙂
