What If I Told You…

What if I told you that you could lose weight while still eating carbs?

That’s right.

What if I told you that the macronutrient that gets heavily demonised by many sections of the industry really doesn’t stop you from losing weight?

Because they don’t.

Sorry “low carb” crew.

But carbohydrates are actually really useful and absolutely do not stop you from losing weight.

There are so many myths out there surrounding carbohydrates.

“Carbs stop you from losing weight!”

“If you eat carbs after 8 pm they will turn straight to fat!”

“You have to cut carbs right out for fat loss”

None of which are correct.

And none of which are backed by any science.

The truth is that carbs help you to maintain digestive and optimal health.

And are hugely important to have placed into the diet.

Unless you are told to exclude them by a medical professional of course.

In a nutshell.

Be hugely wary of anybody who demonises carbohydrates.

They probably do not have much knowledge regarding the subject.

And the chances are that they have a huge bias towards certain diets and certain ways of eating.

Which isn’t always a useful or a sound way to approach your weight loss journey.

Plus, who wants to never eat carbs again in their diet?

How boring and miserable would life be?

Losing weight and getting healthier does not have to be a battle.

And it does not have to be restrictive.

You just need a little guidance on how to navigate the misinformation in the weight loss industry.

Because I would dare say that there is more bad information out there in it than good.

Which is a shame.

But frustratingly accurate 🥴
