“I just feel amazing and more relaxed about scale weight”

One of the biggest bugbears that I have in the weight loss industry is scale weight.

In fact.

I actually create a lot of content surrounding this subject for my clients.

Now, I am not saying that scale weight is not a metric that I ever use to monitor people’s progress.

Because I would be lying.

I do use it.

But only at set and calculated times during a fat loss journey.

For many reasons.

That I will not get into here today.

But I will discuss it in future posts.

So to get this recent feedback from a client.

Who used to focus more on the scales than the actual process of fat loss.

Really did mean a lot to me.

Because I know that scale weight can hugely stress people.

It can completely ruin their day in some cases when it appears to go up.

And people can get completely obsessed by it.

Which in my own personal opinion.

Is just not a healthy relationship to have with fat loss.

So to see my client, after many years of dieting, move away from stressing about the scales.

Which can be a poor short term metric to measure fat loss by.

And move more towards a mindset of process driven results.

Was just the best thing to see.

Because to me.

It is as important to build somebody’s mindset.

And relationship with fat loss nutrition.

As it is to get them the actual weight loss result itself.

Because it sets them up for long term success.

Well done to this client.

This is a super positive mindset shift 🙂👌🏻
