Bullsh*t Nutrition Advice…

Bullsh*t nutrition advice.

Something that I will always challenge.

And something that I will always do my best to dispel.

Especially when it comes to weight loss.

Why am I so bothered you may ask?

Well, the simple reason is this.

I see on a daily basis the damage that misinformation has on people.

I see on a daily basis the damage that it can cause people in the long term both mentally and physically.

It goes far further for me than just disliking the fact that people try to cash in on other’s desperation for weight loss.

And it goes far further for me than just getting annoyed at under-qualified people giving stupid weight loss advice.

For me.

It is about ethics.

And it is about making sure that you leave somebody in a better place than you found them.

Both physically AND mentally.

And I just do not see a lot of that in our industry when it comes to weight loss.

Weight loss is a multi-faceted issue.

It takes more than just throwing some random macros at them.

And throwing them a random shake plan to use.

It takes actual coaching.

And it takes actual care to want to really help them to build real habits that will last them a lifetime.

So the next time that you see me digging out some absolutely toilet weight loss nutrition information.

It is not because I think that I am “better” than anybody.

It is the fact that I think that we have to do better to really help people.

People just do not see or realise the very real damage that they can do to people with rubbish weight loss advice.

And we have to look after people.

And make sure that we are leaving them in a better place than we found them.

Not creating them bigger issues and bigger mental hang-ups surrounding food and weight loss.
