“And Then I said… Take These Fat Burners…”

I posted this on my story the other day.

And it got quite a good response.

So I thought that I would dive a bit deeper into it today.

Just to explain where my mini-rant came from.

Now, there is no secret that I absolutely hate so-called “fat burners”.

That I see them as a complete waste of money.

And that I see them as one of the most useless supplements in the industry.

Closely followed by BCAA’s 🙄

But what really got me last week was that somebody was actually selling these to their clients.

That’s right.

A coach that you pay your hard-earned money to so that you can gain a weight loss result, was actually SELLING these to their clients.

Wow,

It really is just absolutely phenomenal stuff, isn’t it?

Now, I do not blame the people who buy these supplements.

If I was looking for weight loss and I read what these things claim to do on the label.

I would probably think of buying them too.

But for a coach who claims to be a nutritionist to be selling this to their clients.

Well, that for me is just a big massive “No”.

And I am here to tell you that if you have a coach/nutritionist that is recommending the use of “fat burners” to you.

Then you really need to be realising that this is a huge red flag as to why they probably have zero clue on how to actually get you a real fat loss result.

Because trust me…

Any coach or nutritionist who is worth their salt.

Will not be throwing the use of “fat burners” at you.

There are plenty of great coaches and nutritionists out there.

So please, do your due diligence before you choose to work with somebody with who you want to help with changing your life.

Because making the wrong choice will cost you in the long run.

Trust me.

I have seen it far too many times.

And I do not just mean cost you financially.

I mean costs you with your relationship with food too.

And I feel as an industry, we have to do better.
