Mondays!

It is Monday again.

We are now 10 solid days into the New Year.

The festive period is well and truly over.

And this can ultimately be the time of the year where motivation can waver.

I don’t really like the word “motivation”.

And I always talk to my clients about how I dislike the idea of “being motivated”.

Because motivation can be fickle.

It does not always last very long.

And the feeling of motivation can be gone a few minutes after initially feeling it.

This is a huge reason why I always talk to my clients about building habits.

And building structures.

That are sustainable.

And that are realistic.

That are going to push them that bit further towards their goals daily.

So, if you have begun the year full of motivation.

That you are going to “smash the gym” 6 days a week.

And that you are going to eat chicken and broccoli every day in January.

Yet you find yourself already struggling to fulfil those promises to yourself.

Then ask yourself this.

Are your current goals realistic?

Have you got a solid plan in place that works for YOU?

And for YOUR lifestyle?

Because if you haven’t.

You may be making your fat loss journey in 2022 a whole lot harder than it could be.

Review your daily structure.

Review your daily habits.

And look to find something that is realistic for you.

Spoiler alert…

That will definitely not include eating chicken and broccoli every single day to help with your fat loss goals.

Whatever the fitness industry may lead you to believe 😉

Anyway, have a great Monday.

And give some thought to what I have said today 🙂
